Latest Esavian fuselage doors for multiple aircraft types

Jonathan Jewers says: "A new trend, started by the military, is for fuselage doors that can be used by multiple aircraft types. With the hangar slots filled, additional aircraft can be positioned between bays, with the fuselage inside the controlled environment of the hangar and only the tail section outside. A bespoke pneumatic seal is used to provide weather protection, with the seal for one type mounted on the inner door and the seal for the other type mounted externally."

Jonathan Jewers says there is interest in these latest fuselage doors from commercial airline MROs.
